Siava G. Korolev

Svjatoslav Korolev is a Danish-born Russian-Armenian pianist whose career spans solo recitals, collaborative performance, and international competition. Trained at some of Europe's and America's most distinguished conservatories, he has worked with artists including Arnaldo Cohen, Garrick Ohlsson, Jon Nakamatsu, and Roberto Plano.
He holds a Master of Music from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music, a Bachelor of Music from HfM Carl Maria von Weber Dresden, and advanced studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. His graduate studies were supported by the Louis-Hansen Fonden and Augustinus Fonden of Denmark.
As a competitor, he earned recognition across Europe over more than a decade. He was Top Prize Winner of his category at the Caraglio International Piano Competition (Italy, 2014), took prizes at the Tallinn Piano Competition (Estonia) and the Slavic Music Competition (Paris), and received Gold Medal honours at the Berlingske Tidende Music Competition (Copenhagen). He also won the Beethoven Sonata Competition at Indiana University (2020) and took 1st Prize at the Steinway Piano Competition in Denmark.
On the concert stage, Svjatoslav Korolev has performed at prestigious venues across Europe. As Associated Artist with the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company (2017–2021), he toured extensively throughout the continent, appearing at major concert halls and national theatres including Kulturpalast Dresden, Teatro Real Madrid, and the National Theater of Serbia. A notable collaboration brought him to the Hochschule für Musik Dresden for a full Chopin programme alongside German actress Gudrun Landgrebe.
As a juror, Svjatoslav Korolev has served on the panels of the Crescendo International Piano Competition (2025), the Rising Virtuoso Southeast Asia (Malaysia, 2025), and the S-Talent Competition (2026).
Svjatoslav Korolev currently serves as Dean of Music at S-Talent Academy in Da Nang, Vietnam, where he leads curriculum development, faculty management, and institutional artistic direction.
